Each piece is hand cut and designed to feature the beautiful natural qualities of the leather while maintaining lightweight, timeless style. MEET THE MAKER
I grew up in the prairies of Manitoba, Canada, surrounded by endless skies and wheat fields. After marrying the love of my life, I moved to his hometown of Nuremberg, Germany. It is there that I began to experiment with leather, adding it to sewing projects to increase the longevity of the designs. Over time, I gradually gained the courage to start creating pieces completely out of leather, painstakingly teaching myself the art of hand stitching. I have now been working with leather for over ten years and have developed my own technique and designs for hand stitching striking, unique pieces with character and individuality. I create each design from the first draft to the final product and strive to stay true to the natural beauty of the hides, featuring any natural markings that I can, incorporating the raw edges of the leather and highlighting its unique character. The pieces I make are not only functional, they are artistic pieces that will develop character beautifully as they are used.
